Around 25,000 residences in southeastern Queensland found themselves lacking electricity on Monday morning after intense storm systems impacted the region, bringing powerful gusts reaching 109 kilometers per hour.
Substantial Ice Stones and Broad Destruction
Residents observed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that different parts across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Tuesday was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with continued storm activity expected across various areas of both regions.
